California Democrats are speechless as they watch their prized Sacramento gun control senator, Leland Yee, head to prison for weapons trafficking, accepting bribes, and extorting money.
“The crimes that you committed have resulted in essentially an attack on democratic institutions,” Breyer told Yee, who nodded as the judge addressed him. “This is a serious, serious injury to a governmental institution.”
Breyer called his involvement in that crime “hypocritical” and “unfathomable” given his past advocacy for gun control.

The View host Joy Behar publicly apologized for insulting Vice President Mike Pence and millions of Christians Tuesday.
Back in February, Behar had said Pence might have a “mental illness” after guest Omarosa claimed the former Indiana governor “thinks Jesus tells him to say things.”
Pence responded that Behar was “out of touch,” and exhibiting “religious intolerance”: “It demonstrates how out-of-touch some in the mainstream media are with the faith and values of the American people… It’s just wrong for ABC to have a television program that demonstrates that kind of religious intolerance.”
Later video surfaced from a 2017 Morning Joe interview showing Behar saying she was “being told by God to save this country.”
Last Thursday, Disney CEO Bob Iger announced that Behar had called Pence to apologize.
But the closed-door apology was not taken lightly, least of which by actor James Woods who led a Twitter campaign to boycott the ABC network until Behar issued a public apology.
During a Monday interview, the vice president told Fox News’ Sean Hannity he had accepted Behar’s personal apology, but felt she should also apologize to everyone who felt insulted.

CBS NEWS BOMBSHELL: MARJORY DOUGLAS STUDENT LEADER WASN’T AT SCHOOL ON DAY OF THE MASS SHOOTING
A new documentary by CBS News reveals that Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student David Hogg, who has become the face of the student body’s push for gun control, was not at the school at the time of the shooting.
The bombshell comes from David Hogg himself, who made the admission to a CBS News interviewer as part of the documentary “39 Days.” The program chronicles the birth of the student-led “Never Again” movement that culminated in the “March for our Lives” in Washington D.C. on Saturday.
“39 Days” has not yet aired, but an excerpt posted online by CBS News (and included below) includes interviews with the students leading the gun control movement, including Hogg, Delaney Tarr, Cameron Kasky, and Emma Gonzalez. Hogg, who describes himself as a “student journalist,” admits he was at home at the time of the shooting, but rode his bike to school to “get as many interviews as I could.”
That directly contradicts statements he gave to Time Magazine (included below) where he claims to have been in class at the time of the shooting.

DAVID HOGG: On the day of the shooting, I got my camera and got on my bike and rode as fast as I could three miles from my house to the school to get as much video and to get as many interviews as I could because I knew that this could not be another mass shooting.
