Tax reform in time for Christmas
With the holiday season upon us, President Donald J. Trump is working hard with Congress to cut taxes for middle-income families and fix our Nation's broken tax code in time for Christmas. The new bill – currently making its way through the Senate – will slash taxes by some $1.5 trillion over the next 10 years and is projected to boost household incomes significantly after nearly two decades of stagnation. The new code will allow families to spend more of their hard-earned dollars toward the success of their children, while restoring America's competitive business edge and stimulating job growth.

Today, the President is meeting to discuss the bill with Senators Orrin Hatch (R-UT), Pat Toomey (R-PA), Rob Portman (R-OH), Tim Scott (R-SC) and John Cornyn (R-TX) of the Senate Finance Committee. The Administration is pleased with the growing momentum behind passing these historic tax reforms, and it looks forward to continuing to support the Senate in getting this important work done as quickly as possible.

What is happening to the DAPL protesters is awful... my family in ND ARNG units are being activated to the protests...
I want to put some points out there. The protestor are well-intentioned for the most part, but misinformed by a specific media group.
The DAPL is 1200 miles long and passed through swaths of private, public, and native lands making over 140 accommodation along the way.
There is an extremely detailed court ruling showing that Standing Rock refused to meet and request accommodations.
The area the pipeline passes through was surveyed and found to have no archaeological significance, though the protestors are claiming it does now.
ND is the 48th larest state by population and 46th largest by GDP. They are not experienced with this level of manipulation.
Follow the money: Warren Buffet & George Soros bought the railroads in ND that currently transport the oil. The pipeline would be bypassing the railroads.
Those two own the media sites that are encouraging and exacerbating the protests.
Diverting the pipeline north towards Bismark would double the amount of land covered in that area by he pipeline, environmentalists...
Overall I am against the pipeline because I think we should be moving towards cleaner energy, and these protestors are well-intentioned but for the most part misinformed and incited. The bullets above aren't even all of the details, but they need to be heard.
Again, I don't agree with the treatment of the protestors, but the state is dealing with an out of control and farcical situation. Please, ND needs media or meme magic. No one knows where to turn.

In a massive victory for President Trump, the Supreme Court has ruled that the White House’s travel ban on individuals from terror linked countries will go into full effect.
“The court, with two of the nine justices dissenting, granted his administration’s request to lift two injunctions imposed by lower courts that had partially blocked the ban, which is the third version of a contentious policy that Trump first sought to implement a week after taking office in January,” reports Reuters.
The decision overrules lower courts, who many have accused of playing politics by blocking the ban.
People seeking to enter the United States from Iran, Libya, Syria, Yemen, Somalia and Chad will now be barred from doing do.
It remains to be seen whether more countries will be added to the list.
This represents a huge boost for Trump. Tax cuts on the way. Economy booming. He’s going into the new year on a roll.
