Humans and drugs are quite valuable on the black market, bringing in financial reserves to the tune of millions, if not billions of dollars for global collateral accounts and off-books funds.

I tend to be an idealist, often envisioning a world without division and borders where we can all live happily ever after, but we also need to be realists here and realize that a border wall is strategically necessarily right now to deal with the global crime syndicates we are battling.
